Hi, it’s me, Alicia Michelle.

I’m a Central Florida based Artist and nature obsessed lover of the macabre. Raised on horror movies and spending my childhood up in a tree every chance I got has absolutely shaped the different themes portrayed in my artwork throughout my life. The root of my inspiration for all of my work stems back to playing with textures. I’m constantly in awe of nature’s beauty and all she has to offer and am always finding inspiration in the smallest details - the nooks and crannies if you will. It’s this freedom of expression through texture that allows me to fully realize what each individual piece will become and how it engages each viewer.

With Love, From Clermont

This Public Art Project has invited 50 regional artists to reimagine historic photographs of Clermont through the unique lens and artistic style of local and regional artists. The final paintings will be unveiled at the September Farmer’s Market on Sunday, September 13, 2026. This project is completely funded by Clermont Main Street.

From rolling hills and citrus groves to lakeside recreation, bustling downtown streets, and community celebrations — Clermont's history is woven into the places, people, and moments that have shaped our city over the years. Through this exhibit, artists are invited to explore Clermont's past by reimagining historic photographs in their own unique style and creating postcard-inspired paintings that celebrate our community's heritage and enduring charm.

This project aims to enhance the presence of quality, original art in downtown Clermont, educate viewers on the history of our community, cause viewer interaction, provoke thought, entertain, and excite visitors through the work of public art.

All 50 pieces are located at different locations throughout downtown Clermont.

Into the Void: Memento Mori

Each year as October approaches, the Art House seeks artists with work that explores the idea of Memento Mori - a reminder of the inevitability of death as a catalyst to celebrate the life we have. The concept has its roots in classical antiquity and Christianity with its most common motif being a skull. For this exhibit we want to see new, fresh ways of exploring the theme.
